A class reunion, seeing friends from the past and spending some precious moments with one dear childhood friend while saying a final adios caused me to be emotionally spent as I packed my bags for Guatemala. My good friend and brother in Christ, Rex McMasters, arrived at my house before 5am on Saturday morning. He was going to taxi me to the airport in Nashville, TN.

I flew to Houston and met the team from Pulaski at the airport in GUA. All went as planned with just a couple of hiccups. All in all it was an uneventful day.

We slept well Saturday night, and after a devotion time we worshiped together at Ely’s church on Sunday morning.¬†Soon we will be on the road to the coast. We will travel in 4 vehicles and pray for a safe journey.

With 21 people and supplies we are heavily loaded. This team consist of two families with their children, some ole timers and some who are experiencing this for the first time. We praise God for the opportunity.

Thanks again for your prayers and support.
